A Management Control Review of the Invasive and Noxious Weed Program was conducted during April 12-21, 2004, to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of Nevada BLM’s Weed Management Program. The final report was received by Nevada State Office in April 2005. WO has directed the Nevada State Office to provide a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) in response to findings and recommendations in the report.

The following plan has been developed with input from all six Nevada Field Offices, and presents actions and a timeline which addresses and corrects the 31 recommendations found in the WO Management Control Review. Appropriate offices should plan to accomplish the actions identified according to the specified schedule in the CAP.
