Additionally, the publication showcases the archaeological remains of the historic Pony Express stations that once supported the daring young men who rode across the country to deliver mail.The History Mystery series is designed for youth ages - 13 years, and may be distributed directly to them by BLM staff or through teachers, families, or youth groups. Each BLM State Public Affairs Officer, State Heritage Education Coordinator, and State Deputy Preservation Officer will receive multiple copies of the Pony Express issue to provide to field office staff and partner organizations. Orders for additional copies should be directed to the BLM's Printed Materials Distribution Services (PMDS) via office Forms Coordinators. "Mystery of the Pony Express" has been catalogued as PMDS Item No. OS001J.
