BLM Proposes Public Land Conveyance to Utah Division of Wildlife Resources

SALT LAKE CITY—The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah Salt Lake Field Office is seeking public comment on the proposed conveyance of a 0.36-acre parcel of public land in Box Elder County, Utah to the State of Utah, Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) for a field station.
The DWR proposes to assume ownership of a 70-foot wide by 221.56-foot long parcel of land with an existing building that has been used as field station for personnel and cooperators working in northwestern Box Elder County, Utah. The BLM has examined and found the land suitable for classification for conveyance to DWR under the Taylor Grazing Act, and the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act, as amended.

Written comments will be accepted through Oct. 6, 2016. Please reference “Rosebud Parcel-Conveyance of Public Lands to the State of Utah, Division of Wildlife Resources” when submitting comments. Please note that the most useful comments are those that identify issues relevant to the proposed action. Comments which contain only opinions or preferences will not receive a formal response but may be considered in the BLM decision-making process.
