Desert Fishes Junior Ranger Book

Throughout this book, you will learn how the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and its partners are working together to ensure our survival. The BLM conserves native desert fish by protecting, restoring, and enhancing their habitats in cooperation with other federal resource agencies, state and tribal fish and wildlife agencies, engaged individuals, and groups like the Desert Fishes Council and Desert Fish Habitat Partnership. You will also learn how you can help protect desert fish friends, and our habitats.
So, travel across southeastern Arizona to explore aquatic habitats and learn about desert fishes so that you can become an official Junior Ranger!
To receive your Desert Fishes Junior Ranger badge, email or write the BLM Safford Field Office stating you have completed your Junior Ranger book and wish to receive a Junior Ranger badge. Or you can visit the Safford Field Office in person.
