The first-ever Forever Branded Bonanza at the Nebraska State Fair took place August 22–23, 2025, in Grand Island, Nebraska, bringing together Forever Branded, the Nebraska State Fair, and the BLM Wyoming/Nebraska Wild Horse and Burro Program.
The event drew competitors from Wisconsin, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Kansas, and included youth and adult classes in Handling & Conditioning, Trail, and Freestyle. In total, 14 mustangs competed: 5 in youth classes and 9 in adult classes.
Trainer Sienna Hawk of Laramie, Wyoming, won first place with her mustang Red Solo Cup, adopted from the Rock Springs Corrals in April.

Interest from the public was high, with many fairgoers asking about next year’s event. Several mustangs that competed are still looking for new homes and can be found on the Forever Branded Classifieds page.
Special thanks to Forever Branded, the Nebraska State Fair, competitors, trainers, and volunteers who made this inaugural event a success.
