On March 12, 2019, the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act (Dingell Act) became law. This legislation added new conservation designations, improved recreational access to public lands, permanently reauthorized the Land and Water Conservation Fund, and included other achievements.
