Jill Moran
Chief of Staff
As the Chief of Staff, Jill Moran reports to the BLM Director and Deputy Directors and is responsible for providing them direct support in administering the policies and operations of the bureau. She began her career in federal service more than 20 years ago serving in various positions within the Department of the Interior and BLM, including Senior Policy Analyst to the Assistant Secretary for Land and Minerals Management. In addition, she worked in BLM’s legislative and public affairs in both Washington, D.C., and New Mexico. Moran has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Wake Forest University.
