Event Description

Celebrate National Public Lands Day with us at Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area in Lorton, Virginia!

Join fellow volunteers and staff in giving back to your public lands through hands-on projects that make a difference, including: trail maintenance, community garden restoration, tree cage removal, and painting bridges.

Your time and energy help keep Meadowood SRMA thriving for everyone to enjoy. Plus, volunteers receive a fee-free coupon for a future visit to any federal public land site!

Bring your work gloves, water bottle, and enthusiasm, and be part of a nationwide day of stewardship and community. Afterwards, enjoy a guided hike with our Park Rangers to learn more about Meadowood SRMA and your public lands.
