BLM Announces Temporary Closure of Saddleback Mountain Recreational Shooting Site Road for Maintenance
PHOENIX – The Bureau of Land Management’s Hassayampa Field Office will temporarily close road access to the Saddleback Mountain Recreational Shooting Site for road repairs. The temporary closure will prevent potential resource damage, and risk to public health and safety during road work. The closure will be in effect beginning Monday, Aug. 10, and will last for three days.
The Saddleback Mountain Recreational Shooting Site is south of State Route 74 near Lake Pleasant. The road to the site has seen damage from rain events in the past year.
A copy of the temporary closure notice and map will be posted at the main entry points to the area, at the Phoenix District Office, and on the field office website.
