Swede Mountain Trail | Alaska

Located at mile 19.5 of the Denali Highway, this trail is for foot traffic only. The trail is approximately ѕ of a mile one way and has an elevation gain of 1500 feet. Appropriate footwear is advised as the trail is strenuous and fairly wet over the first .25 mile. Allow for 1.5 hours for in/out.

Swede Mountain Trail provides outstanding views of the Tangle Lakes, Amphitheater Mountains, and Alaska Range.

Off-highway vehicles (OHVs) are not allowed on this trail.
