The BLM is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and/or conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for recent vandalism in the Scratch Gravel Hills Recreation Area.

BISHOP, Calif. – The Bureau of Land Management, in coordination with the US Wildland Fire Agency, is issuing fire restrictions for all BLM managed lands in Inyo, Mono, and portions of Alpine counties effective Monday, June 22, due to dry conditions and wildland fire danger. These seasonal restrictions are in addition to the year-round statewide fire prevention order. This seasonal fire order will remain in effect until further notice.
