TriCounty RMP

The BLM Las Cruces District Office is preparing the TriCounty Resource Management Plan (RMP) to update its management direction for approximately 2.8 million acres of surface estate and 4 million acres of subsurface minerals within Sierra, Otero, and Doña Ana counties in southern New Mexico.  Once completed, the TriCounty RMP will replace the Mimbres and White Sands RMPs, completed in 1993 and 1986, respectively.  The draft RMP was made available for public review and comment in 2013, and the BLM is currently preparing a supplement to that draft document.
