Wyoming Fire Restrictions

The Bureau of Land Management implements fire restrictions to prevent losses from human-caused wildfires brought on by extreme drought, high fire danger conditions, and the increased use of public lands.

The fire restriction dashboard is being replaced by a multi-state Rocky Mountain Area Interagency Fire Restriction Dashboard.

The Rocky Mountain Area interagency fire restrictions dashboard shows current fire restrictions in/on many state, Federal, and tribal lands in the five-state Rocky Mountain Area – Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas. Fire restrictions are enacted based on conditions and can change rapidly. Please contact the local fire district, sheriff’s office, or Federal land management agency for the most current fire restriction information.
