UKIAH, Calif. - The Bureau of Land Management will close the South Cow Mountain Off-Highway Vehicle Area to general recreation use and through traffic from Friday, April 15, through Sunday, April 17, to provide for public safety during the Sawmill Enduro and Crosscut Family Enduro motorcycle events.

North Bay Motorcycle Club has been granted an exclusive use permit to use the trails throughout the OHV area for this event.

Hundreds of riders for the events will be riding at a high rate of speed. For the safety of both the participants and the public, the area will be closed to ensure no one accidentally gets onto the race course during the event. The area will be reopened to the public on Sunday afternoon, as soon as the last participant is off the course.

In the event of a wet-weather closure, the events will be rescheduled for May 13 through 15.

Information about the events is available from the North Bay Motorcycle Club:  www.northbaymc.org
