Bureau of Land Management Utah Resource Advisory Council to Hold Meeting in Blanding

MOAB, Utah — The Bureau of Land Management Canyon Country District is scheduled to hold a meeting and field tour with the Utah Resource Advisory Council, Nov. 14 and 15, 2023. The public is invited to attend and gain valuable information regarding District and State planning efforts.
“We welcome the chance to host the Utah Resource Advisory Council in our district,” said Canyon Country District Manager Nicollee Gaddis-Wyatt. “The input and recommendations by the Council are an invaluable source of information when we are making decisions about public lands.”

These meetings are open to the public and provide a valuable opportunity to learn more about the management of public lands in Utah and to have your voice heard on these important issues. Planned agenda items for the Nov. 14 meeting of the Utah RAC include updates and overview of District and State planning efforts. The field tour will include Bears Ears National Monument. The public may address the Utah Resource Advisory Council from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 14. Depending on the number of people wishing to comment and time available, the amount of time for individual oral comments may be limited.
