LAKEWOOD, Colo. – The Bureau of Land Management Northwest, Southwest, and Rocky Mountain Resource Advisory Councils (RACs) will hold a series of meetings on March 29 and 30, 2023, in Glenwood Springs, CO. Virtual participation options will be available for the meetings

A joint meeting of all three RACs is scheduled for March 29, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and will be held at Morgridge Commons, 815 Cooper Avenue, Glenwood Springs.

On March 30 the Northwest and Southwest RACs will meet jointly from 9 a.m. to Noon. The Rocky Mountain RAC will meet separately from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. These meetings will be held at Colorado Mountain College’s Glenwood Center, 1402 Blake Ave, Glenwood Springs.

“BLM Colorado’s RACs represent a cross section of the varied communities we serve, and offer vital perspectives for managing public lands throughout the State,” said Colorado State Director Doug Vilsack. “Their feedback is critical in helping us make informed decisions and we are looking forward to having discussions with them.”

Potential agenda items for the RAC meetings include discussions about partnerships opportunities and recreation fees, field office updates, as well as presentations on permits, campgrounds, day-use areas, and fees. The RAC meeting agendas will be available online at https://www.blm.gov/get-involved/resource-advisory-council/near-you/colorado two weeks prior to the meeting.
