The direct land sale would not impact public land users as there is no public access to the parcel. If the sale is approved, Arc Vineyards plans to set aside the property as open space to meet Santa Barbara County's development and permitting requirements.

The BLM welcomes and values diverse views. To be most helpful, written comments are requested by Monday, Feb. 5. Submit written comments by email at blm_ca_bk_arcvinecomments@blm.gov, via facsimile to 661-391-6041, or through mail or hand-delivery to BLM Bakersfield, Attn: Arc Vineyards Land Sale, 3801 Pegasus Dr., Bakersfield, CA 93308.  For specific questions, please contact Realty Specialist Maria Soto at 661-391-6000.
