Subject: Transmittal of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Bureau of Land Management and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation

This bulletin transmits the final, signed state-level Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF). The MOU became effective upon its signing.

The MOU is intended to improve the ability of the BLM and RMEF to work collaboratively on stewardship agreements that improve habitat for elk and other species associated with elk habitat.

Please transmit the MOU to field offices, reminding them that BLM actively seeks opportunities to work with RMEF in a collaborative fashion.
