Subject: FY 2008 Nevada Wild Horse and Burro Program Workshop

The Nevada Wild Horse and Burro Program Workshop will be held June 9-13, 2008, at the Battle Mountain Field Office in Battle Mountain, Nevada. The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2008, and conclude about 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2008. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss issues of interest and concern to Nevada’s Wild Horse and Burro Program. Also planned is training on the Bureau’s WHBPS system, Win Equus, Herd Management Area Planning, and Resource Monitoring. The draft proposed gather schedule(s) for fiscal years (FY) 2008-2009 will also be reviewed. A copy of the proposed agenda for the meeting is attached.
