Subject: FY 2007 Nevada Wild Horse and Burro Program Annual Meeting and Helicopter Flight Manager Training Opportunity

The state-wide program meeting for Nevada’s Wild Horse and Burro Program will be held April 4-5, 2007, at the Humboldt County Library, 85 East 5th Street, Winnemucca, Nevada. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, and conclude about 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2007. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss issues of interest and concern to Nevada’s Wild Horse and Burro Program, as well as review and revise the draft proposed gather schedule for fiscal year (FY) 2008-2009. A copy of the proposed agenda for the meeting is attached.

On April 2 and 3, 2007 in the Silver State Room at the Winnemucca Convention Center, the following aviation training courses will be offered for those individuals needing qualification as Helicopter Flight Managers: A-115 (Automated Flight Following), A-205 (Risk Management 1), A-212 (ARA/BPA), A-216 (Aviation Operations Security). The training will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 2nd and end about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3rd. Please provide Susie Stokke with the names of any employees you would like to attend this training by March 9, 2007.

Individuals planning to attend either the aviation training and/or meeting should make their own room reservations.
