Subject:           State Aviation Plan 2015
 
Purpose:  This Instruction Memorandum (IM) transmits and documents the State Aviation Plan (SAP) for 2015.  The SAP fulfills the requirement outlined in the Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), National Aviation Plan, Section 2.5.
 
Policy/Action:  This document has been developed to provide standardization and policy for all BLM Arizona Aviation Programs.  However, it does incorporate interagency standards.
 
Timeframe:  This IM is effective upon receipt and supersedes all previous versions.
 
Budget Impact:  Budget elements are not impacted by this policy.
 
Background:  The BLM Arizona State Office has identified the need for a cohesive State Aviation Management Plan that allow all field offices, and aviation users to easily acquire the necessary information and policy to institute a BLM Arizona Aviation Program.
 
Directives Affected:  The BLM Arizona SAP supplements the DOI BLM National Aviation Plan.
 
Coordination:  This document was coordinated with all participating BLM Arizona Unit Aviation Managers.
