The Bureau of Land Management, Wyoming and the United States Geological Survey (USGS)
invite you to one of attend three training sessions to introduce the field staff and other
stakeholders to the Wyoming Basins REA and to the web based Project Screening Tool that has
been developed as part of this project.
Attendees are encouraged to bring laptop computers, so they can access the USGS Wyoming
Basins REA website for the Project Screening Tool, associated REA documents, and GIS based
exercises. Laptops brought to the training need to have the ARCGIS 10.1 suite with the ArcMap
10.1 module preloaded. The laptop computers must also have the wireless internet connection
enabled, so the attendee can access the USGS website. There will be a very limited number of
laptops available, for those who cannot bring one.
The sessions will be limited to 20 attendees per session, with registration on a first come, first
served basis.

The trainings will start at 1:00 p.m. on the first day, and will end at 12:00 p.m. on the third day to
facilitate travel.
There is no registration or tuition costs for this training. The individual attendees’ home office is
responsible for all travel and per diem costs.
The attached registration form must be completed and electronically returned to Bob Means,
Wyoming Basins REA Project Manager, at rmeans@blm.gov by March 16, 2015.
