Subject:           Solicitation of Nominations for Natural Resource Conservation Awards                                         DD:  12/12/2014; 01/06/2015; 01/16/2015

 

Annually, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Director and the Forest Service (FS) Chief are given the opportunity to recognize outstanding individuals, groups, and partnership achievements by natural resource professionals and partner organizations.  Through these awards, the BLM Director acknowledges the hard work and professional dedication of BLM employees and partner individuals and organizations.  The BLM state directors, field managers, and employees are encouraged to submit nominations for one or more awards for individuals or groups who exemplify the performance or contributions described in Attachments 1, 2 and 3 herein. 

The Division of Fish and Wildlife Conservation (WO-230) is soliciting nominations for the following awards:

BLM/Wildlife Conservation Partner Awards (DD: 12/12/2014)

  • Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Elk Conservation Award (Nominations may also be submitted any time throughout the year.)
  • National Wild Turkey Federation Making Tracks Award
  • Mule Deer Foundation Mule Deer/Black-Tailed Deer Conservation Award

Presidential Migratory Bird Federal Stewardship Award (DD:  01/06/2015)

BLM/Linda Siebert Career Achievement Award (DD:  01/16/2015)

BLM/Jim Yoakum Emerging Professional Award (DD:  01/16/2015)

BLM/FS Natural Resource Conservation Awards (DD:  01/16/2015)

  • Conservation Project Award
  • Conservation Partner Award

Nomination Process and Criteria
