Subject:           Solicitation of Nominations for Natural Resource Conservation Awards                                                DD:  12/14/2012; 01/10/2013; 01/16/2013

Each year, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Director and the USDA Forest Service (FS) Chief are given the opportunity to recognize outstanding individuals, groups, and partnership achievements by natural resource professionals and partner organizations.  Through these awards, the BLM Director recognizes the hard work and professional dedication of BLM employees and partner individuals and organizations.  The BLM State Directors, Field Managers, and employees are encouraged to submit nominations for one or more awards for individuals or groups who exemplify the performance or contributions described in the three attachments.

 

List of Awards

The Division of Fish and Wildlife Conservation (WO-230) is soliciting nominations for the following awards:

BLM/Special Partner Awards:

•           Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Elk Conservation Award (DD:  12/14/2012)

•           National Wild Turkey Federation Making Tracks Award (DD:  12/14/2012)

•           Mule Deer Foundation Mule Deer Conservation Award (DD:  12/14/2012)

 

Presidential Migratory Bird Federal Stewardship Award (DD:  01/10/2013)

BLM/Linda Siebert Career Achievement Award (DD:  01/16/2013)

BLM/FS Natural Resource Conservation Awards (DD:  01/16/2013)
