Purpose
This privacy notice is intended to ensure that the public understands why information is being collected and how that information will be managed. The purpose of this information collection is to fulfill the requirements set forth in Section 3 and Section 6 of the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act (Public Law 115–336). BLM will not collect personal identifiable information (PII) with your response.
Information Submission
Do not submit any PII when you submit information through our website. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, address, phone number, email address, social security number, and any other information that can be used to identify you personally. Any information that we collect may be subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act. BLM implements reasonable security measures to protect the information that is collected from unauthorized access or misuse.
No Expectation of Response
Please be aware that if you choose to submit information, you should not expect a response from BLM. BLM will not collect your contact information or other PII. This is to ensure that we maintain compliance with privacy regulations and DOI Privacy Policy.
Changes to this Privacy Notice
BLM reserves the right to update or amend this privacy notice. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
