CAÑON CITY, Colo. – The Bureau of Land Management has temporarily closed a portion of the MOOve Over Trail, from the creek to the trailhead parking area, along with the associated parking area at Oil Well Flats Recreation Area north of Cañon City.

Crews are working to service the nearby Park Center Well. The closures provide a safe work area for contractors and help keep visitors away from equipment and ongoing operations.

The trail and parking area will remain closed until further notice. Signs are posted along the trail, and cones and tape will mark the closed parking area. Visitors are asked to respect the closures while work is underway.

For questions about the trail closure, contact the BLM Royal Gorge Field Office at 719-269-8500.
