Horse Draw Fire Update – 100% Contained
Event Description
Meeker, Colo. – Containment of the Horse Draw Fire near Massadona, Colorado, is now at 100%. The management of the incident transitioned from the Type 3 Incident Management Team back to the local unit at 7:00 am Monday, June 30.
The BLM White River Field Office Type 3 Incident Management Team would like to thank all personnel and local businesses for their dedication and support during this incident.
Smoke within the fire perimeter may be visible from U.S. Highway 40. We ask motorists near mile marker 20 to exercise caution and remain alert for fire crews and emergency vehicles that may still be in the area.
