Event Description

The Bureau of Land Management is offering a sealed bid to sell 1 million board feet of timber in the Lodgepole Flats Timber Sale in the Royal Gorge Field Office.

The sale includes salvage of lodgepole pine on 332 acres of forest lands, producing an estimated 1 million board feet of timber. 

“America has significant timber resources,” said Chris Zeigler, Rocky Mountain district manager. “And we are focused on using forests for timber and jobs that improve life for all Americans.”

Bids must be delivered to the Field Office Manager, Bureau of Land Management, 3028 East Main, Cañon City, Colorado 81212, prior to 10:00 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time May 8, 2026.
