BLM Killarney Lake in north Idaho temporary closed due to storm-related damage

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho—The Bureau of Land Management has temporarily closed Killarney Lake recreation site due to downed trees, flooding, boat dock and ramp damage caused by high winds during this week’s Pineapple Express storm.

The closure is necessary to protect public heath and safety.  The site will be closed until repairs are complete.

Additionally, staff is visiting other BLM Coeur D’Alene recreation sites to assess potential damage and take action, if necessary.
