BLM, Forever Branded to host Wild Horse and Burro adoption event at Stoltz Ranch
Event Description
BILLINGS, Mont. — The Bureau of Land Management and Forever Branded are scheduled to host a series of Wild Horse and Burro adoption events at Stoltz Ranch in Pompeys Pillar, Montana.
The event will be held Aug. 22-23, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., at 1801 Fly Creek Rd. This event will provide the public an opportunity to adopt about 70 available wild horses and burros. Bids start at just $125.
An additional adoption event at Stoltz Ranch is scheduled for:
Sept. 26-27, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
"Wild horses and burros are living symbols of the American West, and by adopting one, you’re becoming part of a legacy of resilience and freedom," said Patrick Merrill, BLM Montana/Dakotas Wild Horse & Burro Coordinator. "These animals are smart, strong, and adaptable – making excellent companions for farms, ranches, or outdoor adventures."
