BLM authorizes installation of the Little Desert Livestock Tank

The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued Categorical Exclusion (CE) documentation for the Little Desert Livestock Tank: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0066-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM will authorize the permitee on the Little Desert Grazing Allotment (the applicant) to install a buried 10,000‑gallon livestock water storage tank and associated 500-gallon trough. The permittee is responsible for legally obtaining any water to be used, which would be trucked to the site. The project location is an old well pad in the NWNE of Section 28, Township 10 South, Range 17 East (SLM), in Duchesne County, Utah.

The decision record can be found at: https://eplanning.blm.gov/Project-Home/?id=92E01EDF-FE52-F111-BEC6-001DD804183B
