Remington Lay Flat Waterline Amendment:
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Vernal Field Office has issued Categorical Exclusion (CE) documentation for the Remington Lay Flat Waterline Amendment: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0196-CE. The Responsible Official signed a decision record approving a right-of-way amendment which authorizes Anschutz Exploration Corporation (the applicant) to modify the approved temporary Remington Waterline route (originally analyzed under DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0038-CX) by adding approximately 0.2 mile to reach an alternate take out point on the White River. No surface disturbance or additional water use would be authorized. The project location is within CR#180204 on BLM-administered land in Section 20, Township 10 South, Range 23 East, S.L.B.&M. in Uintah County, Utah. Pelican Reservoir Eurasian Milfoil Treatment:
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Vernal Field Office has issued Categorical Exclusion (CE) documentation for the Pelican Reservoir Eurasian Milfoil Treatment: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0139-CE. The Responsible Official signed a decision record authorizing the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (the applicant) to conduct herbicide treatments (ProcellaCOR) in Pelican Reservoir over a three-year period. Pelican Reservoir would be closed to public use for one mid-week day each application year while the contractor is applying the herbicide. The project location is in Sections 20, 21, 28, and 29 in Township 7 South, Range 20 East in Uintah County, Utah. The Responsible Official signed a decision record approving a right-of-way for Uintah County (the applicant) on the existing county-claimed Class D (unmaintained) Road, 8000 S. This road would be authorized for use by the public in its current condition without any upgrades or surface disturbance. The project location is in the N½NE¼ of Section 26, T7S, R20E, SLM in Uintah County, Utah.
