BLM approves nine APDs in Uintah County

The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Lestrange 24-1-722 Well Pad: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0090-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM will approve nine Applications for Permit to Drill authorizing Middle Fork Energy Uinta, LLC (the applicant) to drill gas wells. The EA analyzed construction of a well pad with associated access roads, pipelines, and a powerline and drilling of an additional well in the future for a total of ten. The project location is in the SESW of Section 1, Township 7 South, Range 22 East, S.L.B.&M., Uintah County, Utah, approximately 20 miles southeast of Vernal, Utah. The decision applies to the BLM-administered lands; the applicant is responsible to obtain authorization for the portion of the pipeline corridor on TLA-administered lands.
