Mega 23 Pad Natural Gas Wells:

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Vernal Field Office has issued a Decision Record for the Mega 23 Pad Natural Gas Wells: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0175-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record approving Applications for Permit to Drill which authorize Koda GNB LLC (the applicant) to drill up to sixteen gas wells from the approved Mega 23 Well Pad to produce from their existing federal mineral lease. The BLM relied on the Environmental Assessment U&O-FY26-023-EA and FONSI prepared by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) which approved the right-of-way for the well pad and associated surface infrastructure. The project location is on BIA-administered lands in Section 23, Township 9 South, Range 20 East (SLB&M) in Uintah County, Utah. The Responsible Official signed a decision record approving Applications for Permit to Drill which authorize Koda GNB LLC (the applicant) to drill up to eight gas wells from the approved Mega 24HZ-32 Well Pad to produce from their existing federal mineral lease. The BLM relied on the Environmental Assessment U&O-FY26-023-EA and FONSI prepared by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) which approved the right-of-way for the well pad and associated surface infrastructure. The project location is on BIA-administered lands in Section 24, Township 9 South, Range 20 East (SLB&M) in Uintah County, Utah. Abbott UT Oil Wells:

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Abbott UT Oil Wells: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0141-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record approving eight Applications for Permit to Drill authorizing FourPoint Resources LLC (the applicant) to horizontally drill oil wells from the existing Charley Well Pad. The project location is approximately 7.9 linear miles northeast of Duchesne, Utah in Section 32, Township 3 South, Range 3 West, U.S.M in Duchesne County, Utah. The surface is privately owned. The BLM decision only applies to wells that will produce Indian Trust minerals under its jurisdiction. The BLM relied on the Environmental Assessment UT080-2008-315-EA and FONSI prepared by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) which approved the right-of-way for the well pad and associated surface infrastructure. The project location is on BIA-administered lands in Section 9 of Township 9 South, Range 21 East (SLB&M) in Uintah County, Utah. The BLM relied on the Environmental Assessment U&O-FY26-038-EA and FONSI prepared by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) which approved the right-of-way for the well pad and associated surface infrastructure. The project location is on BIA-administered lands in Section 18 of Township 9 South, Range 21 East (SLB&M) in Uintah County, Utah.
