Kai Natural Gas Wells:

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Vernal Field Office has issued a Decision Record for the Kai Natural Gas Wells: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0164-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record approving Applications for Permit to Drill which authorize Koda Uinta, LLC (the applicant) to drill up to sixteen gas wells from the approved Kai Well Pad to produce from their existing mineral leases. The BLM relied on the Environmental Assessment U&O-FY25-076-EA and FONSI prepared by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) which approved the right-of-way for the well pad and associated surface infrastructure. Knoxville 2 Well Pad:

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Knoxville 2 Well Pad: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0031-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record approving two Applications for Permit to Drill authorizing Scout Energy Management LLC (the applicant) to directionally drill oil wells from the Knoxville 2 (K2) Well Pad. The EA also analyzed non-surface effects of constructing the well pad and associated infrastructure on TLA-administered land and a pipeline on BLM-administered land (2.3 acres). The project location is in the BLM-designated Greater Monument Butte oil and gas Unit approximately 8 miles south of Myton, Utah, in Section 36, Township 8 South, Range 16 East in Duchesne County, Utah. The BLM relied on the Environmental Assessment U&O-FY26-061-EA and FONSI prepared by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) which approved the right-of-way for the well pad and associated surface infrastructure. Ridgeline Rentals SRP:

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Vernal Field Office has issued Categorical Exclusion (CE) documentation for the Ridgeline Rentals SRP: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0149-CE. The Responsible Official signed a decision record approving a Special Recreation Permit for a term of two years which authorizes Ridgeline Rentals (the applicant) to install and commercially operate weatherproof lockers in the Ashley Gorge parking area to dispense gear for recreationists using the Via Ferrata climbing route. Canal and East Huber Allotment Boundary Fence:

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Vernal Field Office has issued Categorical Exclusion (CE) documentation for the Canal and East Huber Allotment Boundary Fence: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0103-CE. The Responsible Official signed a decision record approving a range improvement permit which authorizes Steve Huber and David L Murray Trust (the applicants) to install and maintain a fence designed to improve forage production and livestock handling between their authorized grazing allotments. The project location is in Sections 24 and 25 of Township 5 South, Range 19 East and Sections 30 and 31 of Township 5 South, Range 20 East in Uintah County near Lapoint, Utah.
