BLM Approves up to 32 Gas Wells in Uintah County
The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment prepared for the Fuji Well Pad: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0084-CE. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM will approve twelve Applications for Permit to Drill authorizing Middle Fork Energy Uinta LLC to drill gas wells. The EA also analyzed construction of the well pad with an associated access roads and pieplines and drilling up to twenty additional wells for a total of thirty-two. The project location is on BLM-administered lands approximately 9.5 linear miles south of Jensen, Utah in Section 6, Township 7 South, Range 23 East, in Uintah County, Utah.
