BLM Announces Partial Closure Rescission for Prineville District August 15, 2026

The Bureau of Land Management has rescinded a portion of the August 12, 2026, emergency closure on the BLM Prineville District.

The signed order is available online at the Oregon/Washington Fire Closures & Restrictions page.

This order is effective immediately. All other BLM-administered lands closed by the August 12, 2026, order within the Prineville District boundary remain closed until further notice.
