2024 Deer Springs fire rehabilitation testing
The Bureau of Land Management Paria River District has issued a Categorical Exclusion and Decision Record that authorizes the construction of five 60x60-meter research enclosures by Grand Canyon Trust to facilitate monitoring of the success of seeding done for the post-fire emergency stabilization and rehabilitation project following the Deer Springs fire in July 2024. This project is located in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
