Overland School Interpretive Site
The Overland Stage Trail crosses southern Wyoming. Stage stops were developed every 10 miles and passengers were allowed 25 pounds of baggage. The Rock Springs Station was not far from this location. Interpretive panels tell the story of the Stage at this accessible, fee-free site.

Visitors to this site park on the street next to it or in the paved lot for nearby Overland Elementary School. On the street, there are no designated spots and no break in the curb. The school has accessible parking spots, but visitors must take a dirt path from the school lot to the site.
A paved walkway leads to 3 angled interpretive panels, which sit on concrete block pavers. The panels on the left and right are high-contrast letters on fiberglass and the center panel is metal with 3 interpretive panels in Braille. The Braille panels were installed in 2010. The nearby Superior Mail Arrow site also has Braille interpretive signs.
There is no toilet or shade structure. Cell phone reception is good.
