North Oquirrh Management Area (NOMA)

The North Oquirrh Management Area is located adjacent to subdivisions near Tooele, Utah.  This area was acquired through a series of land exchanges in the 1990s to protect important resource values such as high value watershed, crucial winter range for elk and deer, and historic and prehistoric cultural resources such as the petroglyph site at Yates Springs. Things to do include wildlife watching, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, backcountry camping, mountain biking, photography, OHV riding and cross-country skiing.
