Little Mountain Dispersed Camp | Wyoming

Considered to be one of the most beautiful areas in Sweetwater County, this undeveloped camping area is a haven for camping, hunting, hiking, biking, off-roading, photography and stargazing. On average, 75% of the days are cloud-free for spectacular opportunities to see the stars. This is a fee-free site. This is a dispersed recreation area. There are no developed facilities and access is by improved dirt road. High clearance vehicles with four-wheel drive are encouraged. There is no winter maintenance.

Directions

Take State Highway 191 south of Rock Springs 25 miles to County Road 4-34 Upper Sage Creek Road. West six miles to BLM 4402 Little Mountain Road. South twelve miles to the Little Mountain camping area.
