Fontenelle Creek Recreation Area | Wyoming

The Fontenelle Creek Recreation Area uses a paved route to access the reservoir and is a good location for boating, fishing, beach play, and day/overnight camping. Year-round unless closed by winter weather conditions, the area contains one ADA accessible vault toilet and two areas available for vehicle/boat trailer parking near the boat ramp. The boat ramp is a concrete slab that features a boat docking platform, and there is no fee to use it.

A vault toilet, a camp host site and a trash collection trailer sit near the entrance to the campground. A total of 54 campsites form two campground loops featuring sunshade-covered picnic tables and charcoal briquette barbeque grill boxes. Some sites also have fire rings. The campground is first-come, first-served, so visitors may not make reservations in advance. Visitors must pay $7.00 per-day use fee. During the spring and summer months (typically late May to early September), the area offers several potable water points and three ADA accessible, no-fee flush restrooms along with an RV dump station that requires a $3.00 per dump fee.
