From Battle Mountain travel south on US 305 approximately 3 miles to parking area located on the right side of the highway near mile marker 115.

Copper Basin Mtn. Bike Trail

Phase I of the trail system consists of 11.1 miles of trail created from existing two-tracks and newly developed single-track trail in 2002. Phase I consists of four loops. The trails have been marked with Carsonite reassurance and junction posts. The system is a partnership between Newmont Mining Co., Lander County and BLM-BMFO.
