Buckhorn Dino Track | Utah
Buckhorn Dino Track features a single, well-preserved footprint left by a dinosaur in the ichnogenus Eubrontes over 180 million years ago, preserved in Navajo sandstone formed from ancient windblown dunes. A short walk and scramble from a roadside pullout leads to the marked fossil, framed by a circle of stones for easy identification and protection. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Buckhorn Draw and the San Rafael Swell while accessing this rare glimpse into Early Jurassic life.
