Rangeland Inventory, Monitoring and Evaluation
Since 1989, the Bureau of Land Management’s rangeland management program has compiled an annual Rangeland Inventory, Monitoring, and Evaluation report. The report contains tables providing the following information by state:
- Cumulative monitored rangeland trend.
- Grazing allotments in Improve, Maintain and Custodial management categories.
- Cumulative and annual monitoring and evaluation of grazing allotments.
- Acres and miles evaluated for achievement of land health standards and fundamentals.
The Rangeland Inventory, Monitoring, and Evaluation report is generated by the BLM’s National Operations Center in Denver, Colorado. Contact Nika Lepak at [email protected], for more information.
