Voting Open for 2015 Public Lands Photo Contest

Starting today the public will have an opportunity to cast their vote on photographs showcasing Nevada's public lands. The Bureau of Land Management selected 22 photos from over 200 submitted by 45 photographers throughout the state. The photographs can be found at http://on.fb.me.“Over the past four years people have shared their adventures on public lands with us," said Barb Keleher, BLM Nevada outdoor recreation planner. “We hope the images inspire people to get out and explore everything the state has to offer."The photos with the most “likes" will be considered for use in the 2016 BLM Nevada calendar. Voting will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, October 2nd. Other entries will be posted to the BLM Nevada Flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/blmnevada/
