SILT, Colo. – The Bureau of Land Management and Colorado Mountain Club seek volunteers July 19-20 to help with a joint mapping project in the Castle Peak Wilderness Study Area north of Wolcott in Eagle County.

“Brush up on your GPS and mapping skills by participating in the third year of this fun stewardship project,” said Julie Mach, Conservation Manager for Colorado Mountain Club.

The Colorado Mountain Club will provide food, group camping gear, training and project leadership.  No experience is necessary, and the project is open to the public.  Pre-registration required at http://www.cmc.org/Calendar/EventDetails.aspx?ID=26677
