TWIN FALLS, Id.—The Twin Falls District Bureau of Land Management is hosting an open house on Jan. 27 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the new office building at 2878 Addison Ave. E., Twin Falls.

Last fall, 60 BLM staff members from the Jarbidge Field Office, Twin Falls Fire and Twin Falls District all moved into the new building. They were formerly located in three different offices across Twin Falls as each location lacked the adequate space to consolidate staff. The new building will also accommodate the addition of 30 – 40 seasonal fire and natural resource staff in the summer.

The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation. Our mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
