Trails Center to host archiving workshop Saturday

CASPER, Wyo. – Join the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center this Saturday and learn how to protect and preserve your family’s treasured keepsakes.

At 2 p.m. on January 8, Casper College Western History Center archivist Hanz Olson will lead a workshop on at-home archiving, sharing best practices for preserving your family records. Olson will define archival concepts to help identify, arrange, and preserve materials. 

Participants are invited to bring their own letters, journals, newspapers, photographs or a mix of these and other artifacts for hands-on learning. Participation in the workshop is free.
