KINGMAN, Ariz.— The Bureau of Land Management (BLM)’s Kingman Field Office (KFO) invites the public to comment on two applications from the Golden Vertex Corporation for two 25-year rights-of-way (ROW).

One application is for a ROW to build and operate an overhead electric distribution line (approximately seven miles long) alongside Silver Creek Road from eastern Bullhead City to Moss Mine. The other application is for a ROW to widen, re-contour and maintain BLM Route 7717, an existing dirt road, from Silver Creek Road to Moss Mine.

The BLM is accepting written scoping comments regarding the two ROW proposals in order to assist in preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA), including the development of alternatives and identifying any issues or potential impacts that could result from granting the two ROWs. The 15-day public scoping period will begin on Feb. 12 and end on Feb. 26.

A description of the proposed action, visual simulations, drone video and a map are available for review on the BLM’s project webpage in ePlanning, at https://go.usa.gov/xnyHV.
